Applying a tuned design to the front and rear position is key to this wheel's performance; the front wheels are designed to find grip and support a wider tire at lower pressures, while the rear wheels maximize power transmission and puncture resistance.

Of course, our wheels are fully tubeless compatible out of the box, and come sealed and include tubeless valves.

If every wheel performs a different function and is subjected to different forces, why do most brands try to sell you the same rim for both the front and rear wheels?

ALUMINUM PUNCH PROTECTION

Punches occur when the tire is pinched between a foreign object and the rim edge. Our updated rim design increases the size of the critical bead area by 50%, distributing impacts, and combines with a rounded edge profile, offering superior puncture resistance.

ASYMMETRIC RIMS

Asymmetrical rims allow us to balance spoke length and tension. In short, this means fewer spoke sizes, more balanced tensions, and stronger, more reliable wheels.

DIRECTED SPOKE HOLES

By matching the angle of the spoke hole to the angle at which the spoke exits the rim, we can significantly reduce the stress on the spoke nipple. Although this technology requires additional design and manufacturing work, the result is a much more reliable wheel with less chance of spoke breakage.

SECURE NIPPLE LOCK

We apply a threadlocker to each nipple separately. This fluid creates increased friction between the spoke threads and nipple, eliminating air between the spokes. This ensures the spoke stays tight and allows for adjustments if necessary.

J-BEND MC SPOKES
